Prue returned to Whanganui after working in Wellington for KPMG. She joined Carey Smith in 2003 and became a director three years later. She’s also a director of the Rawlinson & Hunter New Zealand trust and administration companies, which operate globally, and a member of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Prue is a trusted advisor and mentor who specialises in the establishment and growth of new businesses. She’s also experienced in the formation, migration and ongoing administration of NZ foreign trusts. She enjoys working with community organisations and contributes her governance skills to Jigsaw Whanganui, which works alongside families in need, and the Whanganui Community Foundation, which helps fund and develop many charitable, educational, cultural, philanthropic and recreation activities in the wider Whanganui area. Prue and her husband enjoy rural living on a farm that’s just a short commute from the office. She loves getting out in her tramping boots, travelling overseas to visit her adult children, and planning intrepid journeys. |
